Alexis Winter is an embodied sex and intimacy coach working with a diverse expression of partnerships and individuals in Brooklyn, NY. As a former childbirth educator and postpartum doula she has always found purpose in empowering women and couples through education and support. Through her past life as an educator and doula she has not only supported clients in starting a new family, experiencing birth and body changes, she has supported them in creating safe and beautiful spaces to call home. She has also worked as an interior designer working intimately with clients as they built homes and created new spaces. Alexis is now going back to her roots to explore a subject that is vital to everyone but rarely discussed in a raw and real way: Sex and Intimacy. She hopes to give individuals the support they need to better understand their bodies, their sexuality, and redefine what it means to access pleasure. As a certified Embodied Sex and Intimacy Coach through the Embody Lab, she feels fortunate to have studied with Dr. Scott Lyons, Kai Cheng Thom, Cyndi Darnell, Dene Logan, Vanessa Bennet, Barbara Carrellas, Stan Tatkin and most recently at the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy with Ian Kerner.
“Your no makes the way for your yes. Boundaries create the container within which your yes is authentic. being able to say no makes yes a choice”

Testimonials:
“Working with Alexis over the past year has been a profoundly transformative journey. Her exceptional ability to listen deeply and reflect my thoughts back to me with clarity has allowed me to truly comprehend and connect with my own feelings.
The safe and nonjudgmental space she creates has been invaluable, especially as we navigated the deeply personal and often stigmatized topic of infidelity. Through her guidance and unwavering support, I have gained insight into the fractures within my marriage and uncovered years of self-abandonment and a lack of boundaries I had unknowingly maintained”.

"She has this incredible ability to hear what's unspoken but needs to be said and break it down in a way that ultimately leads to healing and real tangible steps that can be taken to move toward improvement. She really took the necessary time to listen and understand my situation and provided the safest space imaginable for me to both process my experiences but also see them through a new lens. She's incredibly insightful, compassionate, non-judgmental--- one of those rare people in life who just get it and know exactly what to do and how to set goals that are actually attainable".
